Office of Research and Innovation Hosts Successful Concept Proposal Presentation for External Funding Projects

The Office of Research and Innovation recently conducted a dynamic Concept Proposal Presentation for External Funding Projects event, held on February 6 and 7, 2025. The activity showcased the innovative ideas and research initiatives of participants, with a total of ten concept proposals presented over the two-day event.
The proposals were evaluated by distinguished experts in the field: Doc Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III and Mr. Jerico Ogaya. Their extensive knowledge and critical insights provided valuable feedback to all participants. According to the evaluators, all the proposals presented demonstrated exceptional quality, creativity, and strong potential for securing external funding and generating impactful outcomes.
Many of the concept proposals were aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the participants' commitment to addressing global challenges such as quality education, good health and well-being, sustainable cities and communities, climate action, and gender equality. This alignment highlights the potential of these projects to contribute to sustainable development both locally and globally.
