Southern Leyte State U Extension Services holds activity on Enhancing Strategies to Optimize Outcomes and Writeshop on Effective Extension PPAs Initiatives

The Office of the Extension Services recently conducted an activity on Enhancing Strategies to Optimize Outcomes and a Writeshop on Effective Extension Projects, Programs, and Activities (PPA) Initiatives using a hybrid method on November 17, 2023, to adequately address and resolve concerns or issues faced by faculty across the different college and campuses when implementing extension activities.

The activity started through an online session in the morning where the lectures on four topics were discussed, followed by an open forum. The national extension conference winners were also invited to present their papers virtually. In the afternoon, select participants from the morning session through the selection of the RIES Coordinators are invited for the face-to-face session at the Plenary Hall, USSC Building, for the write shop of the PPAs, as an output for the morning lecture.

The said activity was spearheaded by Dr. Angel Sabusap, Director for Extension Services, through the recommendation of Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, VPRIES.

It was participated by the VP for RIES, the ES Director, the Extension Services Staff, Science Research Specialist II, the Extension Services Coordinators, the Head for Monitoring and Evaluation, and faculty from different campuses.
