SLSU – University-wide conducts a student Orientation for the Online Faculty Evaluation
On November 13, 2024, students from across the university gathered for the Faculty Evaluation Orientation, a hybrid event held online via Google Meet. The assembly, designed to guide students through the faculty evaluation process, aimed to encourage meaningful feedback and enhance the overall academic experience.
The event opened at 8:00 a.m. with a warm welcome address from Dr. Annabelle M. Hufalar, followed with a message of support by Dr. Dewoowoogen P. Baclayon. The main portion of the event was led by Mr. Nestnie D. Honrada, who provided a step-by-step demonstration on the evaluation platform. Through his hands-on training session, students were guided on how to access and complete the evaluation forms efficiently. The interactive training ensured that both virtual attendees felt equipped and confident in using the system, making the process more accessible and straightforward.
An open forum followed, offering students the chance to voice any questions or concerns about the evaluation procedure. This segment allowed for an engaging dialogue between students and faculty, reinforcing the university's commitment to transparency and active student involvement.
Concluding the event, Dr. Constantino G. Medilo, Jr. delivered the closing message, expressing gratitude to all attendees and speakers. He reiterated the value of the evaluation process and urged students to approach it earnestly, noting that their feedback would be a driving force in enhancing the university’s academic standards.
