Southern Leyte State U holds mental health webinar

Southern Leyte State University conducted a webinar on mental health on September 9, 2022 as part of its month-long activities in line with the 122nd Anniversary Celebration of the Philippine Civil Service.

Focusing on leading educators towards a safe and mentally supportive environment amidst crisis situtations, the activity aims to discuss the impact of disaster and health crisis such as the pandemic among students, employees, parents, and communities.

Facilitated by Southern Leyte State U-Maasin City Campus, the webinar will provide knowledge on the level of crises that are unexpected, threatening, and potentially catastrophic events that results in long-term traumatization and mental instability.

This will make the participants understand the fundamental needs for safety in the University and identify strategies for implementing crisis management plans.
