CHTM conducts capability program for homestay project

Southern Leyte State University, through the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, conducted a two-day capability program dubbed as "Soley Home" on January 30-31, 2023, in line with its homestay project for the Southern Leyte.

The said event aims to facilitate the creation of a homestay program in the municipality anchored on ASEAN, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Hinunangan, that focused on the topics of tourism awareness and homestay programs.

These entail eight (8) program criteria that include host accommodation, activities, management, location, hygiene, cleanliness, safety and security, marketing and promotion and sustainability principles.
