SLSU - UPDO conducts Year-End Performance Review Evaluation and Target Setting
The University Planning and Development Office of Southern Leyte State University held its Year-End Performance Review Evaluation and Target Setting last January 8, 2024.
The Performance Review and Evaluation is conducted as one of the University Planning and Development Office's quality objectives, as indicated in SLSU's Strategic Plan-Execution Continuum (2022-2026).
In this stage of the strategic management plan implementation, actual performances are compared to the standards or expected outcome or results, internal and external factors that affect performance are reviewed, and corrective actions are taken (Performance Measurement, Evaluation, and Control).
The activity was conducted at the Plenary Hall of Southern Leyte State University–Main Campus. It was attended by the members of the top management, including University President Dr. Jude A. Duarte, and the Vice Presidents and middle-level academic managers from all campuses.
Facilitated mainly by Dr. Aldwin M. Teves, UPDO Director, and the Planning Officers, the program activity was broken down into various parts to cover the following in relation to the outputs expected to be derived from the activity:
- Presentation of Year-End Accomplishments for CY 2023 of the University in general and the Campus/Colleges in particular against Strategic Plan-Execution Continuum
- Presentation of the Status of Compliance on Agency Accountabilities
- GAP Analysis
- Presentation of Gaps and Ways Forward
- Presentation of FY 2024 University Targets per Strategic Plan-Execution Continuum and Indicative FY 2025 University Targets per Strategic Plan-Execution Continuum.
- Presentation of Proposed PREXC Indicators for FY 2025 and onwards.
The activity ended successfully after a whole day of thorough presentation by the attendees.
