SLSU's reclassified faculty; new faculty and staff undertakes oath

On May 10, 2024, a total of 144 reclassified faculty and 18 newly-hired faculty and staff took their oath under university president, Dr. Jude A. Duarte, at the SLSU Library - Mini Theatre.

The ceremony commenced with Mr. Gordon B. Opina, Director for UHRMD, presenting the numbers of newly hired and reclassified faculty and staff to be recognized by the University President.

Subsequently, Dr. Jude A. Duarte, esteemed University President, administered the oath to all faculty & staff across the campuses.

Dr. Duarte extended congratulations to all reclassified and newly hired faculty and staff, imparting a message of encouragement and support.

To commemorate the occasion, a group photo was taken with the faculty & staff, the University President, the four Vice Presidents, and the Campus Directors, marking a momentous start to our academic journey together.

• Reclassified Faculty: 66
• Newly Hired Faculty & Staff: 9
