Southern Leyte State University-Main Campus Successfully Conducts User’s Training for E-Procurement System
The second E-Procurement System User's Training was successfully conducted on December 17, 2024, at the GIS Laboratory, with 30 participants from various offices, including OP, VPAA, VPAF, Registrar, Accounting, Budget, Cashier, COA, QA, FCSIT, Legal, Extension, FAS, GS, CAO-Admin, DME, DCpE, DCE, FTVE, FCJ, Planning, and Research.
The event was spearheaded by the University Information System and Analytics (UISA) Office, under the leadership of Mr. Francis Rey F. Padao, and the Accounting Office, headed by Ms. Christine Alma Mae M. Daguplo.
The training featured two resource speakers. Engr. Samuel D. Tomaub provided an in-depth overview of the Procurement Management Information System (PMIS), guiding participants through its interface and functionalities to streamline procurement tasks. Meanwhile, Mr. Nestnie D. Honrada facilitated a hands-on workshop on Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) preparation for the non-CSE, offering practical insights and tools for effective planning.
The training aimed to enhance the participants’ technical capabilities in e-procurement, fostering greater efficiency and compliance in procurement processes across offices.
