Southern Leyte State U Extension Services Office conducts Training- Writeshop on Research Publications

Southern Leyte State U, through the Office of the Extension Services, conducted a training-writeshop entitled Enhancing Teachers’ Skill in Crafting and Conducting Action Research on June 09 & 16, 2023, to the teachers of Itchon National High School, Macrohon Southern Leyte.

The said training workshop, an activity part of the Extension Services’ Data Analysis Enhancement in Research and Learning Execution (DAERLE) Project, aims to build the capacity of partners-clientele for designing, implementing, and sustaining research activities through training and consultancy services and to have the target beneficiaries write publishable paper out of research inputs.

On June 9, 2023, the project proponents, Dr. Juanita M. Costillas, Dr. Aldwin Teves, and Ms. Adelfa C. Diola, conducted a lecture seminar on writing publishable papers. The activity consists of three topics: Characteristics of a Publishable Paper, Writing a Publishable Paper, and Critiquing of Research Articles. However, the critiquing and presentation of the papers were held on June 16, 2023, in the same venue.
