Brgy. Tigbao Kicks Off the First Day of Simultaneous Financial Literacy Training in Libagon, Southern Leyte
The Financial Literacy Training under Program AMUMA: Cultivating Financial Resilience for Marginalized Farmers and Fisherfolk’s Economic Growth successfully began in Brgy. Tigbao, Libagon, Southern Leyte, with Barangay Captain Hon. Celestina Rubio spearheading the event. Farmers and fisherfolk from the community eagerly participated in the training, which covered essential topics like budgeting, saving, and financial planning. Resource speakers Carlo M. Cabillo, Noel E. Celester, and Angelica E. Gerong, along with facilitators Dr. Angel T. Sabusap, Christian Errol B. Bandalan, and Agnes E. Montanez, guided participants through hands-on exercises aimed at improving financial management skills.
