Brgy. Cawayan Successfully Holds Day 2 of Financial Literacy Training in Libagon, Southern Leyte
Day 2 of the Financial Literacy Training under Program AMUMA: Cultivating Financial Resilience for Marginalized Farmers and Fisherfolk’s Economic Growth in Barangay Cawayan, Libagon, Southern Leyte, was a resounding success. Led by Barangay Captain Hon. Arthur “Sammy” Yuboc, the event saw active participation from local farmers and fisherfolk eager to learn about savings, budgeting, and debt management. Resource speakers Janine Dimzon and Edelyn Dayola, along with facilitators Kristin Espita, Vircilyn Camille Acilo, and Agnes Montanez, guided participants through practical financial strategies aimed at improving their livelihoods.
The training empowered the community to strengthen their financial management skills, fostering long-term economic resilience.
