DOST RO8 holds orientation on Scholarship Policies and Procedures

The Department of Science and Technology Regional Office 8 conducted an orientation on S&T Scholarship Policies and Procedures to the qualifiers of the 2023 Junior Level Science Scholarship together with their parents and legal guardians, last November 23, 2023, at the Hotel de SLSU, Southern Leyte State U- Main Campus.

The activity was attended by Dr. Jude A. Duarte, University President, Ms. Shairman Gozales from DOST Regional Office VIII, Mr Emmanuel Lagdamen, Supervising Science Research Specialist of PSTO So. Leyte. The orientation covered the scholarship policies, guidelines, obligations and commitments.

There were eight qualifiers from the province for the said scholarship, seven of whom came from Southern Leyte State U and one from Saint Joseph College.
