Hinunangan Campus conducts annual institution review, evaluation

Southern Leyte State University - Hinunangan Campus, through the Office of Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (RIES), conducted a successful joint Research and Extension Services Review and Evaluation on April 12, 2023.

The activity highlighted the significance of faculty participation in research initiatives and the importance of collaboration among faculty members and partner organizations.

This led to the presentation of 12 proposals for research and innovation and six proposals for extension activities, showcasing the commitment and dedication of faculty researchers and extensionists from various departments and programs.

The evaluation panel, composed of Dr. Rhoderick Malangsa, Dr. Frederick Aniga, and Dr. Ian Navarrete, provided guidance and feedback to proponents for necessary modifications and adjustments to ensure the relevance of RIES Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) to meet the demands of the global community grounded in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This activity exemplifies the importance of continuous evaluation and improvement in research and extension services, which will ultimately benefit the university and the community it serves.
