Brgy. Nahaong Successfully Clutches the Last Day of Financial Literacy Training in Libagon, Southern Leyte
On September 7, 2024, the Financial Literacy Training under Program AMUMA: Cultivating Financial Resilience for Marginalized Farmers and Fisherfolk's Economic Growth concluded in Barangay Nahaong, Libagon, Southern Leyte. Held at RMSM Nahaong National High School, the event was led by Barangay Captain Hon. Lolita E. Ebasitas, who delivered the welcome remarks. Resource speaker Noel E. Celeste, alongside facilitators Adelfa Diola, Agnes Montanez, and volunteer La Arnie Salvacio from the FHTM department, conducted comprehensive workshops on savings strategies, budgeting techniques, and debt management.
Local farmers and fisherfolk participated actively, gaining valuable financial skills to enhance their economic resilience and contribute to the long-term growth of their community.
