Writeshop Empowers Students Taking Capstone, Thesis, and Research Courses for Scopus Publication
A series of writeshops titled "Writing Non-Method and Original Research Articles for Scopus Publication: Strategies for Encouraging Students to Produce Publishable Research Papers" successfully concluded, aimed at helping students currently engaged in capstone projects, thesis work, and research subjects. Held from September 4 to September 9, 2024, the event focused on enhancing the writing skills of students preparing research papers for potential publication in Scopus-indexed journals.
Facilitated by Dr. Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III, NRCP-RD Leader, and Mr. Jerico B. Ogaya, NRCP-RD Lead Assistant, the writeshop offered comprehensive guidance on how to write and structure original research articles, emphasizing creativity, quality, and adherence to academic standards. The event specifically catered to students in their capstone subjects and those actively working on their thesis and research projects, addressing the specific needs and challenges of this crucial academic stage.
The students attended tailored sessions based on their fields of study:
