COE Students Showcase Capstone Projects
Two student groups from the College of Engineering successfully presented their capstone projects titled "Salt-Powered Tech: An Application for Developing a Power Module" and "Design and Performance Evaluation of a Thermoelectric Assisted Dryer," on September 29, 2023 at the Research and Innovation Center.
These projects, spanning a wide range of engineering disciplines, underscored the interdisciplinary nature of the students' education and their ability to address real-world challenges effectively. This event not only provided an opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange within the engineering community but also showcased the remarkable potential of these young engineers.
The presentation garnered valuable insights and critiques from expert evaluators, including Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, the Vice President for Research and Innovation Services, as well as faculty members from the College of Engineering, namely Engr. Jonelle Tablada, Engr. Melvin Obbus, Engr. Julius Paler, Lizandro Bitang, and Raymart Bulagsac, all of whom contributed their wealth of experience.
