Day 3 of Financial Literacy Training in Brgy. Otikon, Libagon, Southern Leyte
Barangay Otikon, Libagon, Southern Leyte, hosted the third day of the Financial Literacy Training under Program AMUMA: Cultivating Financial Resilience for Marginalized Farmers and Fisherfolk's Economic Growth. Held at the Brgy. Otikon Covered Court, the event was guided by Brgy. Councilor Romeo, representing Barangay Captain Hon. Sandy Palima.
The training, supported by the LGU of Libagon and featuring resource speaker Carlo Cabillo, focused on practical financial skills such as savings, budgeting, and debt management. Facilitators Lian Mari Calope, Kristin Espita, and volunteer Laarni Biex Pasus from the FHTM department delivered valuable insights, significantly benefiting local farmers and fisherfolk in their pursuit of better financial practices and contributing to the overall economic growth of their community.
