Southern Leyte State U joins the 1st Inter-Island M&E Network Forum-Visayas

Last October 13, 2023, Southern Leyte State U joined the 1st Inter-Island M&E Network Forum-Visayas held at the Park Inn Hotel, Iloilo City, as one of the presenters. Dr. Francis Ann Sy, VPRIES, and Engr Lelie Lou Bacalla, M&E Head, represented the university.

Southern Leyte State U was one of the two SUCs in the Visayas chosen to share their best practices in Monitoring and Evaluation with the University of Eastern Philippines. The recently launched Research, Innovation, and Extension Services Management Information System was the highlight of the presentation.

Organized by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the forum was participated by different line agencies, private sector representatives, and SUCs to strengthen the M&E network capacities by building collaborations between sectors and streamlining the M&E initiatives of the Visayas.
