SLSU joins Data Mining Training on Selected Clustering and Rule Analysis Algorithm 2023

Southern Leyte State University recently participated in the Data Mining Training on Selected Clustering and Rule Analysis Algorithm 2023 held at the University of San Jose - Recoletos, Cebu City, last October 3-4, 2023. The training event aims to enhance the participants' data mining and analysis skills.

The resource speaker of the said training is SLSU's Director for Graduate Studies, Dr. Rhoderick D. Malangsa. Alongside Dr. Malangsa were three other SLSU - Maasin City Campus delegates, namely, Engr. Maria Dulce S. Gonzalez, Irish Ann C. Padilla, and Rannie M. Sumacot. Their participation and contribution in the event reflect SLSU-MCC's commitment to promoting academic excellence research and empowering its faculty and staff with cutting-edge data mining and analysis knowledge and skills.

The training event aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of data mining techniques, specifically focusing on selected clustering and rule analysis algorithms. Delegates had the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, engage in hands-on practical sessions, and network with fellow professionals from various educational institutions in the Visayas-Mindanao region. The Visayas-Mindanao Consortium for Journal Publication, Inc. (VMCJPI) has been instrumental in organizing such events, fostering collaboration among regional educational institutions, and promoting research and academic excellence.
