Southern Leyte State U conducts online PPMP formulation, GAA budget proposal prep

The University Planning and Development Office in coordination with the Budget Office spearheaded the Orientation on FY 2023 Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) Formulation and FY 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA) Budget Proposal Preparation on August 24, 2022, for the heads and directors of the respective offices, divisions, departments, and units of Southern Leyte State University-Main Campus.

The activity realizes the goal of creating a common understanding as to the formulation of FY 2023 PPMP and informing the end-users of the preparations to be made for FY 2024 GAA Budget Proposals or TRIP 2024-2026. Furthermore, it will pave way for the end-users to have ample time to complete and comply with the necessary requirements and documents needed to have shovel-ready infrastructure projects.

This initiative is also in preparation for the Regional Planning Forum on the FY 2024 Budgeting Process to be spearheaded by the Regional Development Council VIII on the third quarter of this year.

Southern Leyte State U aims to formulate a comprehensive PPMP in all campuses of the University anchored on the SLSU Strategic Plan-Execution Continuum (2024-2026). It is in line with the University's goal to enhance the transparency, efficiency and effectiveness of the Management System and sustain the standardized process.
