SLSU concludes successful online training on TRL Analysis and Technology Valuation
Southern Leyte State University recently concluded a successful online training on Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Analysis and Technology Valuation from July 3-5, 2024. Organized by the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO), the training was attended by faculty innovators from various campuses within the SLSU system.
Renowned speakers Engr. Aldrex Aviso and Mr. Michael Viccil Junsay led the sessions, providing comprehensive insights into TRL Analysis and Technology Valuation. The training aimed to equip participants with the skills necessary to evaluate the maturity of technologies and assess their value effectively.
The three-day event covered foundational aspects of TRL, practical applications, and strategies for technology valuation and commercialization. The interactive format included discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, fostering active participation and collaboration among attendees.
The Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, led by Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy, alongside KTTO Director Engr. Khorina O. Aguilar and Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Head Dr. Melvin S. Sarsale, played a pivotal role in organizing this training. Their efforts underscore the university's commitment to advancing technological capabilities and innovation within SLSU.
