SLSU-Bontoc CISA Head joins CHED-APAS Training Workshop

SLSU-Bontoc Faculty and Head of the Campus Information Systems and Analytics (CISA), Mr. Junnie Ryh M. Sumacot, joined the two-day training workshop on Automated Program Application System organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Hotel Alejandro, Tacloban City on September 12-13, 2023. The activity, participated by a select group of IT Educators from various higher education institutions (HEIs), provided an ideal platform to delve into the intricacies of CHED's new automated program application system.

Facilitated by CHED Regional Office IX (CHED RO9) experts, the training workshop aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the system, its functionalities, and its implications for HEIs. Participants also had an opportunity to network and collaborate with peers from diverse educational backgrounds, fostering a supportive community of professionals dedicated to enhancing their institutions' capabilities. The knowledge acquired from this training workshop will be anticipated to equip the participants with the necessary tools to navigate the evolving landscape of higher education management and streamline administrative processes toward greater overall efficiency within their institution.
