SLSU forges partnership with LGU Malitbog, holds ceremonial turn over of modules

The Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) through its University President, Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes,forged partnership with the Local Governement Unit (LGU) of Malitbog through its Municipal Mayor, Hon. Jose M. Go, Jr., in facilitating its flexible learning modalities on September 29, 2020 at Malitbog Municipal Library, Malitbog, Southern Leyte.

The partnership between SLSU and LGU Malitbog was held with the ceremonial turn over of learning modules and with the ribbon cutting of kiosk.

The kiosk is primarily established to help the people in the community through livelihood programs. This will also be the avenue for the giving of instructional materials to the students living within the municipality.

This initiative was done to cater the needs of students, especially those who have no gadgets (computers, smartphones, etc.) and stable internet connection.

Aside from Malitbog, SLSU, in coordination with the LGUs and Provincial Government of Southern Leyte, will put up more kiosks across the province to make the lives of the Southern Leyteños easier for continual, lifelong learning.
