SLSU-Hinunangan RIES Consultation Meeting Strengthens Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Research Initiatives

The Research, Innovation, and Extension Services (RIES) consultation meeting at Southern Leyte State University–Hinunangan Campus was a significant step toward fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across the university.

Led by Dr. Ian A. Navarrete, Head of RIES, and in collaboration with the faculty members of the College of Teacher Education at SLSU-HC, the session aimed to align faculty and staff efforts in advancing research and extension initiatives.​

This meeting builds upon previous RIES-led activities on the campus, such as the training on bibliometric analysis for Bachelor of Secondary Education students. These initiatives are part of the university's broader commitment to enhancing academic excellence and community engagement through research and innovation.

The consultation session not only focused on the Education Department but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations across various departments, reflecting the university's dedication to a unified approach in its research and extension endeavors.​
