SLSU to send more trainees with TKR Manufacturing Japan
Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, SLSU President, and Yukio Nakamachi, Director-in-Charge of TKR Manufacturing Japan Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on January 31, 2018 for deploying student trainees from Southern Leyte State University for International On-the-Job Training Program at Iwate, Japan.
On the same day, Yukio Nakamachi together with his company visited the electrical and electronics shops of the university and conducted a group orientation with the aspiring students.
A total of 53 students from BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Industrial Technology (major in Electrical and Electronics Technology) programs of the university applied for the international OJT. Qualified trainees will be deployed to Japan for 10 months.
As agreed, the company will contribute to the living and training stipend of the student trainee.
TKR Manufacturing Japan is a duly qualified and registered company authorized by its government to conduct foreign placement activities.
