SLSU to join PASUC R8 group tilt
45 performers from Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) will compete in the group categories of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Regional Culture and the Arts Festival 2017 at Eastern Visayas State University, Tacloban City on November 17, 2017.
Gilbert Siega, university cultural director, leads the team to bring home some awards.
Out of eight, SLSU will only compete in four categories. These include the live band, folk dance, street dance, and chorale.There are five performers for the live band, 12 for the folk dance, eight for the street dance, and 20 for the chorale. They will be accompanied by their respective coaches during the competition.
The university has no entry for radio drama, short and sweet play, contemporary dance,and indigenous dance.
