Noteworthy to mention that the SLSU-Criminology Department was recognized by the Professional Regulatory Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology for having obtained Third Place among the schools/colleges/universities with Exemplary Passing Performance in the Criminologists Licensure Examination. Likewise, the Engineering Faculty was also recognized for their unwavering efforts to collectively ensure that our Engineering students get what they deserved --- quality education. They brought pride to SLSU for attaining 100% passing in the Licensure for Electrical Engineering. Through the years, they have been producing quality graduates in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
SLSU is a recipient of the PRIME-HRM award of the Civil Service Commission. It has obtained Level 2 Maturity Award on Recruitment & Selection, Learning & Development, Performance Management and Reward & Recognition. The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management or PRIME-HRM is a program that assesses the human resource management (HRM) practices, systems and capabilities of government agencies.
SLSU-Main Campus Faculty, Staff and Students brought home four (4) awards during the anniversary celebration. Everyone was ecstatic as SLSU Main was announced as Champion in the Palawod Dance Festival, Booth Contest, Pamasol Contest and Cooking Contest. As the good proverb says. “All work and no play makes Juan a dull boy.” It was indeed a great time to relax, celebrate and enjoy. Congratulations to all who took part in the successful celebration of the SLSU anniversary.
It is always good to look back at what has been accomplished, but we must also look ahead at greater things in the future.
