For a long-term mutually beneficial association: UBIS taps SLSU

After hearing the good feedbacks of the Vietnamese Students from Tra Vinh University about SLSU, UBIS, University of Business and International Studies, Southeast Asia tapped SLSU for a long-term mutually beneficial association. UBIS Main Campus is in Geneva, Switzerland.
SLSU is the first university in the Philippines they have presented their interest into. The meeting for the possible agreement was held at the Board Room of the university on September 25, 2013 and was attended by Mr. Pham Quang Vinh, Director BDM Center in Vietnam Representative, UBIS Southeast Asia personnel, Ms. Nhung and Mr. Trung ; and the university president, Dr. Gloria M. Reyes, VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jane N. Labastida, VP for Administration and Finance, Dr. Valerio B. Cabalo, VP for Research Development and Extension and External Affairs Dr. Prose Ivy Yepes, and the Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Juanita M. Costillas, representing SLSU.
In the meeting UBIS representatives showed a presentation about UBIS, UBIS in Vietnam and their proposal about UBIS-SLSU Cooperation.
The cooperation focuses on Dual Degree in MM and MBA between UBIS and SLSU.
UBIS is committed to work with SLSU to develop specific agreement on establishing ties of friendship and cooperation, developing Switzerland- Philippines program in the South East Asia area, enhancing professional experience through diversity, practical activities for learners, and promoting mutual understanding, academic collaboration, cultural personnel exchanges.
After the presentation of interests and concerns, both parties had discussions and finally agreed to look forward for cooperation.
The meeting was concluded with Memorandum of Understanding signed by two parties.
