SLSU-Hinunangan Transforms Digital Skills, Proficiency with Expert-Led Microsoft Office 365 Training
Faculty members, administrative staff, and student leaders of SLSU-Hinunangan gathered at the Multipurpose Academic Building on September 4, 2024, for the "Microsoft Office 365 End-User Training," a hybrid session organized by the Campus Information System and Analysis (CISA) office in collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO). Led by Microsoft expert Jem Diaz, the program aimed to enhance participants' digital skills through hands-on activities designed to improve their proficiency in Office 365 tools.
Engr. Noel S. Bugais, Administrative Officer IV, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of the training in today’s increasingly digital landscape. “We are pleased to offer this opportunity to our faculty, staff, and student leaders. The knowledge and skills you will gain from this training will be instrumental in modernizing our operations and improving service delivery,” Bugais said.
During the training proper, which featured hands-on activities, allowed participants to explore various tools within the Office 365 suite. From email management and document creation to cloud storage and collaboration using Teams and SharePoint, attendees engaged in practical exercises designed to enhance productivity in both academic and administrative settings.
This initiative aligns with SLSU's broader mission of cultivating academic excellence and institutional efficiency. By equipping its community with advanced digital tools, the university seeks to streamline daily operations, minimize administrative bottlenecks, and focus more on student-centered programs and activities. As SLSU moves towards its institutional goals of innovation and quality education, digital literacy becomes a cornerstone in achieving these objectives.
The event marks a significant step forward in ensuring that the campus stays ahead of the curve in adopting modern solutions, promoting collaboration, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
