SLSU Officials Complete Phase 1 of Public Service Value Chain Training

Five senior officials from Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) completed the first phase of the 2025 Public Service Value Chain (PSVC) Training Course delivered by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) on July 28 to August 1, 2025, at the L.S. Virata Hall, Development Academy of the Philippines, Pasig City.
Representing SLSU were Dr. Constantino G. Medilo, Jr. (VP for Academic Affairs), Dr. Dewoowoogen P. Baclayon (VP for Administration and Finance), Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub (VP for Student and Auxiliary Services), Dr. Christine Alma Mae M. Daguplo (Supervising Administrative Officer), and Mr. Leo Omamalin (Chief Administrative Officer). The training provided participants with tools to analyze and optimize public sector processes for more effective service delivery.
As part of the course output, the SLSU team crafted a PSVC Improvement Plan that aligns with the university’s strategic priorities. This initiative demonstrates SLSU’s strong commitment to citizen-centered governance and continuous institutional improvement in higher education.
