SLSU-TO Mathematics Faculty Conducts Proposal Review and Evaluation as Part of Project ARAL 2.0
To enhance the quality of academic research, the faculty of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) conducted a proposal review and evaluation. This was under Project ARAL 2.0: Acculturation of Research in Advancing Learning, held at Marcelino's Place, Hilongos, Leyte, on July 26, 2024. Before the conduct of this event, a series of sessions were done as part of capacity building.
Participants were divided into groups to present their research proposals which provided an opportunity for peer review and feedback. The afternoon session resumed with further presentations, followed by a comprehensive critiquing session headed by Dr. Marvin Daguplo. The panel provided constructive feedback which helped participants refine and improve their proposals.
Dr. Mary Lilibeth O. Yan, the School Director, delivered the closing remarks, expressing gratitude to the SLSU-TO Mathematics faculty for their support and the participants for their active involvement. She emphasized the importance of such activitiy in fostering a culture of research excellence within the academic community.
This activity was a significant step forward in Project ARAL 2.0, which aims to advance learning and research at MLG College of Learning Inc. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4: Quality Education and supports SDG No. 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
