TVU MAED Students Engulf in Southern Leyte & Leyte Tourist Spots
The Master of Arts in Education (MAED) students of Tra Vinh University (TVU), including Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Ms. Tran Hoang Phuong Thuy, Mr. Pham Van Tam, Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Tien, and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Truc accompanied by Dr. Nguyen Huy Thong fully immersed in our culture by exploring the tourist spots of Southern and Leyte.
Together with them are the faculty members from Tomas Oppus Campus: Dr. Clemente Cobilla, the Campus Director; Dr. Norla Grace Betarmos, the College Dean; Dr. Lilibeth Tindugan, Program Head EDD and MAED-EM; Dr. Norlyn Borong, the Department Head; Dr. Hermabeth Bendulo, the Program Chair of English Education; Dr. Vicente Betarmos, the Program Chair of Social Science Education; Dr. Annaliza Nares, the Program Chair of Filipino Education; Dr. Joey Caraquil, the Program Chair of Mathematics Education; Dr. Dana Lim, the Program Chair of Science Education; and Dr. Leslie Elisa Cobilla, the Teaching Internship Supervisor for SIAP in TVU, Vietnam.
Their journey began as they indulged in the beauty of the turquoise water with lush green mountains at Tagbak Marine Park in Liloan, Southern Leyte.
On their next destination, they were able to appreciate the mountainous view at Mount Caningag located in Pintuyan, Southern Leyte. It was a thrilling experience standing atop the hill with a man-made hand that overlooks the mountain and the sea.
They also got to visit a tourist spot in Liloan,Southern Leyte, known for its sandy shores and crystal blue water. The guests and the faculty were able to take a dip and relished on the sandy shores in Bulahan Beach Resort. They were also able to enjoy the food offered at the place.
Continuing their journey, they had a better view of the northern part when they went to Lintaon Peak, the home of the 16,000 blossoms in Baybay City, Leyte.
On their last destination, they stopped by at DannMar Venue and Tuna Grill where they had to taste the Filipino cuisines.
The impact of engulfing in our tourist spots left them with a profound feeling of understanding, connection, and appreciation of our rich cultural heritage.
