From 166, SLSU is now top 118 university in PH: UniRank

The Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) climbs to spot 118 public univerisity in the country based on the September edition of the 2021 Philippine University ranking of Unirank. SLSU also ranks 88 in the Top Philippine Universities on Facebook.

SLSU was placed 166 in June 2021 volume of UniRank.

Unirank, based on its website, is the leading international higher education directory and search engine featuring reviews and rankings of over 13,800 officially recognized Universities and Colleges in 200 countries. It ranks all higher educational institutions in the world based on their web presence and popularity in terms of online traffic, trust, authority, and quality link popularity.

The ranking aims to provide a non-academic League Table of the top Philippine Universities based on valid, unbiased, and non-influenceable web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the Universities themselves.

In the ranking, UniRank includes worldwide higher education institutions that are officially recognized, licensed, and/or accredited by national or regional bodies such as Ministries of Higher Education or government-recognized accrediting organizations, officially licensed or authorized to grant at least four-year undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees and provide higher education courses mainly in a traditional face-to-face learning format delivered through on-site facilities.

With the given standing, SLSU is now top 2 among the 10 state universities and colleges in Eastern Visayas region following Visayas State University which ranks 14.

UniRANK uses web metrics from four different web intelligence sources like Moz Domain Authority, Alexa Global Rank, SimilarWeb Global Rank, Majestic Referring Domains, and Majestic Trust Flow for its rankings.
