Southern Leyte State U – SAS leads Unified Information Drive Program for AY 2025-2026
From November 18-22, 2024, Southern Leyte State University through the Student's and Auxiliary Services (SAS) proudly spearheaded a transformative Unified Information Drive across Southern Leyte, Leyte, Maasin City and Baybay Divisions. This initiative, aimed at Grade 12 students from both public and private schools, ensures equal access to valuable resources and comprehensive information empowering every aspiring first-year college student for the upcoming First Semester of AY 2025-2026.
At the heart of the drive, the team informed students about the diverse courses offered across the different campuses, while also introducing the Innovative Online Admission System to simplify the application process and make higher education more accessible than ever before.
Beyond sharing vital information, this effort strengthened ties with local communities and stakeholders, reaffirming SLSU’s unwavering commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
In addition to promoting academic opportunities, the drive highlighted the importance of diversity and equal representation in all fields. It also encourage women to break barriers and explore traditionally male-dominated fields like Criminology, Engineering and other programs, fostering an inclusive academic environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
