ELES implements Training on Photographic T-shirt Printing
The office of External Linkages and Extension Service (ELES) of the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) implemented a 3-day Training on Photographic T-shirt Printing on December 10-12, 2020. This extension project is in collaboration with Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) and Local Government Unit (LGU) of Macrohon, Southern Leyte.
ELES, through the efforts of the Extension Coordinator of SLSU’s College of Technology (COT), exerted their expertise to conduct such extension program to help the members of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), unemployed, and out-of-school youths learn and enhance their corresponding skills in t-shirt printing into much more presentable, attractive, and convenient process. This provides opportunities for skills development in t-shirt printing, and increases competence of the beneficiaries. The provided training skills hoped to augment the lifestyle of the benificiaries, improve their way of living, and give them a chance to start their own entrepreneurial activities with a minimum capital.
Mr. Junjun Tahil, who is the proponent of this activity, was delighted to have implemented this extension program with the support and cooperation of the university and the participating BLGU and LGU of Macrohon. He hopes for a good outcome of this activity, and will make an impact on the lives of the beneficiaries.
On December 19, the same extension activity will be conducted at Pintuyan, Southern Leyte.
