SLSU Conducts Training on Effective Technical Writing and Documentation

Southern Leyte State University successfully conducted a Training on Effective Technical, Writing, and Documentation on September 17, 2025, at AVR-FAS, SLSU Main Campus. The activity aimed to strengthen the writing and documentation skills of employees, particularly those serving as committee secretaries, administrative aides, and administrative assistants who perform secretarial functions.
During the session, participants gained practical techniques for preparing minutes of meetings, notices, memoranda, and formal letters specifically aligned with SLSU standards, as well as for maintaining accurate records of activities and projects. The training emphasized the importance of clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in official communications, enabling staff to produce documents that meet organizational standards and support effective decision-making.
This initiative reflects the university’s continuing commitment to enhancing employee competencies and promoting excellence in public service through improved communication and documentation practices.
