SLSU-Tomas Oppus organizes Writeshop for Production of Scopus Papers
Southern Leyte State University - Tomas Oppus Campus, College of Teacher Education, organizes a writeshop aimed at producing Scopus-indexed papers focusing on AI tools and utilizing the Scopus database. The event took place at the Mini-Theatre last Wednesday, June 26.
Present at the event were university and campus officials, including Dr. Jude A. Duarte, Dr. Eda Opina, Dr. Marie Khul Langub, Dr. Clemente H. Cobilla, guest speaker Dr. Don Eliseo Lucero - Prisno III (NRCP RD Leader), faculty, staff, and students.
Discussions centered around the use of AI tools to support research studies for the production of papers intended for Scopus publication, which significantly impacts promotion and ranking systems, enhancing global recognition.
The writeshop unfolded in the afternoon, focusing on the creative process of preparing Scopus publications and featuring the sharing of insights and impressions.
