SLSU-Bontoc briefs external stakeholders on use of shared sports facilities
SLSU-Bontoc, true to its pledge of a shared sports facility as one of the strategies in attaining and promoting Bontoc’s 2024 Sports Development Program anchored on the National Government’s Sport-for-All Program, conducted orientation to external stakeholders on two separate occasions: January 29, 2024 and on February 3, 2024, to coaches, sports coordinators and players of the Bontoc National High School (BNHS); and the Bontoc Flying Disc Association and the Bontoc Panthers, respectively.
Mr Ryan Tomol, SLSU-Bontoc Security and Safety Management Head, briefed external stakeholders on internal guidelines relating to use of the campus’ shared sports facilities, particularly its open field to accommodate wide range of physical activities including football, soccer and track and field; volleyball/tennis courts and indoor table tennis equipment. External stakeholders were also made aware of the school’s safety policies and guidelines, including its strict implementation of the “No ID, No Entry” policy. Mr. Sherwin Caday, SLSU-Bontoc Sports Coordinator, also took part in conducting adequate and advance planning for sports events to prevent conflicts that may arise due to overlapping events.
