DIT continues to conduct extension service on providing skills training on t-shirt printing
The Department of Industrial Technology (DIT) of the College of Technology (COT) conducted a Skills Training on Photographic T-shirt Printing for out-of-school youths, members of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps), and unemployed residents of Brgy. Mahayahay, Sogod Southern Leyte.
The five-day skills training is one of theextension services of the said department where the participants were given both lecture-discussion and hands-on activities to give them a quality learning experience that will be essential for them as they start their own entrepreneurial activities using their new skills to venture into life.
The skills training aims to help the participants learn, acquire and develop a new skill by providing opportunities for skills development in T-shirt printing and further improve their way of living. This activity also helps boost confidence and increase the competence of the target beneficiaries.
This iniative, in fact, is a continuation activity which was conducted by the then office of the External Linkages and Extension Services (ELES). By helping the participants be knowledgeable about practicable new trends of technology, they will also be empowered and competent members of society.
