SLSU - ROTC conducts RAATI; gains 91.71% passing grade
The Southern Leyte State University Reserve Officer Training Corps. (ROTC) conducted a Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) last May 13, 2024 at the Southern Leyte State University Grand Stand. The inspection aims to evaluate the cadets and cadettes' readiness in responding to emergency situation related to national security, administrative efficiency, tactical readiness and the overall performance of various tactical teams. With the aforementioned criteria of rating, Southern Leyte State University Reserve Officer Training Corps garnered the overall passing grade of 91.71% in the recent Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection in the academic year 2023-2024.
The inspection was led by the RAATI Chairman Lt. Col. BENJEY ROBERTO G. FERRERAS MNSA PA (RES) with a team comprised of senior administrative officers and tactical experts together with the SLSU-ROTC Commandant Lt. Col. ARTURO M. DUMALAGAN (INF) PA and personnel from the 8th Community Defense Center (CDC).
Stated below are the summary of findings during the inspection.
1. Administrative Efficiency: Administrative units demonstrated high levels of compliance in accordance with the rules and policies of NSTP-ROTC in consonance with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) mandate.
2. Tactical Readiness: The majority of tactical teams exhibited excellent preparedness, with well-maintained equipment and efficient team coordination during high-pressure scenarios.
3. Personnel Competency: Cadets and Cadettes of various tactical units displayed commendable knowledge and skills. Nevertheless, continuous professional development was recommended to ensure all personnel remain up-to-date with the latest administrative and tactical practices.
