SLSU MCC implements Cycle 2 of TRAIL Project

The kick-off training on Participatory Project Management for the implementation of the TRAIL Cycle 2 Project successfully commenced last February 8, 2025, with active participation from key stakeholders and community members. The activity was attended by members of LAMDAG, an organization dedicated to community development, under the leadership of President Perfecto Ramos. The training was further supported by the Barangay Council, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Celestino Laraga.
The training team provided a comprehensive discussion on the DILP DOLE Project, emphasizing its objectives, expected outcomes, and implementation strategies. In addition, participants were briefed on the TRAIL Cycle II project, highlighting its potential benefits for the community in terms of sustainable livelihood opportunities.
A significant part of the training focused on planning and tasking, ensuring that members of LAMDAG are strategically involved in the subsequent activities of the projects. The discussions fostered a sense of ownership among the participants, as they proactively engaged in decision-making processes.
The enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the attendees were evident throughout the training. Their active participation underscored their keen interest in contributing to the success of the projects, not only for their personal growth but also for the continued development of the LAMDAG organization and the Barangay Lonoy community as a whole.
With a clear roadmap set forth, the implementation of the TRAIL Cycle 2 Project is poised to create meaningful impact, reinforcing the vision of transforming and building resilient communities through alternative indigenous livelihoods.
