SLSU Maasin City Campus Faculty Enhance Writing Skills at Publishable Essays Writeshop Maasin City
On December 4, 2024, faculty members from the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Maasin City Campus participated in a transformative Writeshop focused on crafting publishable essays. The virtual event, hosted via Zoom by the SLSU Main Campus, was spearheaded by Dr. Jonathan J. Palco, Head of Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, and Mr. Rannie M. Sumacot, Coordinator for Research and Innovation.
The Writeshop provided a focused and intensive learning experience, guiding participants through essential components of essay writing, including research methodology, argumentation, and stylistic refinement. Faculty members selected topics aligned with their personal interests and areas of expertise, ensuring the essays reflected their individual scholarly pursuits.
