SLSU-San Juan empowers faculty researchers with a training on SEM
Southern Leyte State University-San Juan Campus successfully held a virtual training-writeshop on publishable paper writing using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis on November 21-22, 2024, via Microsoft Teams. The two-day event aimed to enhance the research capabilities of faculty and scholars, focusing on SEM as a vital tool for analyzing complex relationships among variables and producing high-quality academic outputs.
The training featured Dr. John Vianne Murcia, a seasoned expert in research and analytics and the Director for Research and Accreditation at Jose Maria College Foundation, as the resource speaker. Dr. Murcia guided participants through the theoretical foundations and practical applications of SEM using JAMOVI. His sessions emphasized the importance of rigorous data analysis in generating publishable research and provided participants with actionable insights for improving their academic manuscripts.
The event highlights the university’s unwavering commitment to promoting innovation and research excellence.
