SLSU-TO Holds Awareness Activity on Administrative Quality Procedures
The Southern Leyte State University–Tomas Oppus Campus (SLSU-TO) held an Awareness Activity on Administrative-Related Quality Procedures on January 28 at the SLSU-TO Mini-Theater to strengthen personnel understanding of institutional quality systems and standardized administrative processes. The activity was organized by the Campus Quality Assurance Office, headed by Ms. Mary Cris S. Orias, with the participation of administrators, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel.
During his welcome remarks, Dr. Joseph Anthony M. Romero, SESS Head, emphasized the importance of quality procedures in ensuring efficient, transparent, and accountable campus operations. Ms. Orias presented the statement of purpose, highlighting that the activity aimed to raise awareness and promote the consistent implementation of quality procedures across administrative offices in support of continuous improvement.
The lecture proper featured discussions on various administrative quality procedures. Dr. Monna Liza M. Bosque, Accountant-Designate, opened the session with a discussion on financial management quality procedures, followed by Mr. Alex S. Mabulay, BARGO Head, who presented business management quality procedures. Ms. Rissa Fe M. Yuag, Procurement Officer, discussed procurement-related quality procedures, while Mr. Roland K. Sala Jr., CISA Head-Designate, explained CISA quality procedures. Engr. Ralph Angelo T. Lloren discussed PPDMO/GENSO quality procedures, followed by Ms. Abegail L. Bano, HRMO II, who presented human resource management quality procedures. Ms. Trina Isabele L. Masing, Supply Officer-Designate, discussed supplies quality procedures, followed by Mr. Goles and Ms. Cabel, who presented security and records management quality procedures, respectively. Ms. Judy O. Paz, SAO-Designate, concluded the lecture with a discussion on management-related quality procedures.






The activity concluded with the awarding of certificates to the resource persons, led by Dr. Romero, and closing remarks delivered by Ms. Judy O. Paz. This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions by promoting transparency, accountability, and effective administrative systems within the university.
