SLSU lass wins first place in regional ASEAN tilt

Think ASEAN; Feel ASEAN. SLSU-Tomas Oppus representative Dennis Ted Tingcoy won first place in the Spoken Word Poetry - English Category during the Virtual Regional ASEAN Competition 2020 which happened on August 17-28, 2020.

Tingcoy, under the coaching of Miss Sybill Krizzia G. Ledesma, impressed the virtual audience with her original piece entitled “Autumn Foliage,” written in connection to the ASEAN 2020 theme: “Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN.”

Along with Tingcoy who made the university proud are Dave Rellanos, coached by Raniel G. Aninapon, for Filipino Category, and Francis Murry, coached by Martin H. Urdaneta, for Mother Tongue Category.
