SLSU inaugurates new university main gate

Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes, University President and Cong. Roger G. Mercado, Lone District of Southern Leyte and Board of Regents Member led the inauguration of the new university main gate of Southern Leyte State University- Main Campus on August 17, 2018.

The new gate costs P3.5 million including the turnstiles and vehicle booms which will be launched in October.

Dr. Yepes said that the tech-based gate is a clear manifestation of the institution’s commitment to become a high quality corporate science and technology university.

“It is my earnest hope that every time we pass through this gate, we will always be reminded of our vision, mission, goals and objectives so that all of us will jointly work hard for its attainment,”Dr. Yepes said in her speech during the inauguration program and ribbon cutting ceremony.
