Southern Leyte State U joins National Innovation Day 2024

Southern Leyte State U students, namely, Mr Christian Banez (BIT - Electrical), Ms Juana Marie Amplayo and Ms Nicka Mae Samaco (BSTM), accompanied by Career Center Services Coordinator Ms. Minerva B. Baclayon, recently participated during the National Innovation Day 2024, held at the Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City last April 22, 2024.

With the theme, "Unboxing the Filipinovation Mindset," this year's National Innovation Day aims to increase awareness of innovation, cultivate innovative culture and mindset, and mainstream Filipinovation through the participation of other national government agencies, LGUs, the private sector, and schools.

The event was a two-part activity consisting of the HABI (Huddle, Analyze, Build and Innovate) workshop, which was a design-thinking activity; and the plenary program where winners of the different categories of the design-thinking were announced.
