CHED recognizes Southern Leyte State U during ICONS Awards 2023

Southern Leyte State U recently received recognition during CHED's Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2023, which was attended by DR. Jude A. Duarte last October 6, 2023, at the Agoncillo Hall (Summit Halls C and D) Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

The event celebrates the addition of new Philippine Higher Education Institutions recognized by international ranking bodies. It serves as an avenue to acknowledge the high-impact initiatives of the PHEIs toward sustainability, ASEAN awareness, and internationalization.

SLSU has been recognized by the World University Rankings for Innovations, Times Higher Education (THE) World, Asia and Impact Rankings, and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World/ Asia Rankings and Star Ratings.
