Southern Leyte State U-Maasin City Campus receives recognition from partner agencies

The SLSU-Maasin City Campus has been recognized by the City Government of Maasin, under the leadership of Hon. Nacional V. Mercado, for their outstanding work on the extension project known as Retooling and Capacitating Employees of LGU-City of Maasin on Civil Service Examination Coverage (ReCap) with Dr. Jonathan J. Palco and Dr. Maria Estela E. Roa as project leaders. Through RECAP, SLSU-Maasin City Campus has demonstrated its commitment to civic responsibility and its role as a key driver of positive change within the community.

Moreover, Hon. Chris Marlou N. Maturan, representing the BLGU Mabini, Macrohon, Southern Leyte, has acknowledged the SLSU-Maasin City Campus for their exceptional contributions to the community through the extension project called Resilient on Economic Fluctuations through Alternative Diverse Livelihood and Good Governance Adaptability (REAL GOOD) with Ms. Juvenal Flores-Sumaya as project leader. The REAL GOOD Project exemplifies the university's dedication to rural development and empowerment, focusing on initiatives that uplift the lives of people living in rural areas.

Furthermore, the Provincial Government of Southern Leyte, led by Hon. Damian G. Mercado, has bestowed recognition upon the SLSU-Maasin City Campus for their exemplary extension project called Comprehensive Assessment and Review for Employee Readiness in Civil Service Examinations (CAREER) with Dr. Maria Estela E. Roa and Ms. Juvenal Flores-Sumaya as project leaders. The CAREER Project represents the university's holistic approach to community development, combining education and community engagement to address local challenges effectively.
