SLSU Maasin City Campus, Southern Leyte Province partner for free civil service review classes

Southern Leyte State University Maasin City Campus forged another partnership with the Provincial Government of Southern Leyte on July 17, 2023, through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the conduct of free civil service review classes for the upcoming August civil service examination.

The project aims to provide comprehensive assessments and reviews, possibly through training, workshops, or study materials, to help these employees perform better in their respective civil service exams.

The replicated project Comprehensive Assessment and Review for Employees’ Enhancement and Readiness in Civil Service Examinations (CAREER) was led by Dr. Maria Estela Roa, the campus director of SLSU MCC.

Provincial Government of Southern Leyte Governor Damian Mercado expressed that the free civil service review will significantly help the casual and job order employees to attain eligibility which further improves their service to the community.

University President Dr. Jude A. Duarte and Governor Damian Mercado spearheaded the ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement which was witnessed by the provincial government of Southern Leyte officials, SLSU Sogod, and SLSU Maasin representatives.
